So, I have no clue on why this ain't working. They are the exact same mods (I copied over the folder), and we are using the exact same version of forge. I can play on the server, but the mods aren't loading for some reason. Then I create a mods folder, drop the thing in there, and when I join the server the mods don't work. It created the server jar and the eula and all that, I accept the eula and it creates the world and starts the server. I downloaded the minecraft forge installer, I chose the install server option and gave it an empty folder. I don't know why, I did everything as I should. but the real problem is that there is no mods. To mitigate this, I tried to create a dedicated server with minecraft forge to set the online mode to false. Usually my brother hosted the game with lan, and we all joined no issue, but for some reason now my sister can't join because it can't authenticate with the server (because she doesn't have a paid account). Setup forge in a NEW folder (not covered here there are many tutorials online) Start up your forge server and log in to it to verify it works (and generate a default world) - Go to the end and nether to generate them.
